In this lesson you will learn how to ask and answer question about a person’s look and character.

1- Perhaps she is: This sentence is used to answer when someone asks “is she tall or (any other description)?” and you are not sure whether she is or not.

2- I think so: This sentence is used also when you are not sure about your answer but 75% or more certain.

3- I don’t think so: This sentence is used when you are sure about your answer 75% or more certain.
4- She’s quite tall: This sentence is used to describe someone’s length whether tall or short.

5- She’s (has) got dark hair: This sentence is used to describe the color of a person’s hair.

6- That’s him: This sentence is used to confirm the identity of a person and referring to him.

7- That’s her: This sentence is used to confirm the identity of a person and referring to her.

8- He is about six foot tall: This sentence is used to describe the exact length of something or someone and the measuring unit is FOOT.

9- That’s about one meter tall: This sentence is used to describe also the length of something or someone.

10- Jean is taller than Susan: This sentence is used to compare between the lengths of two people.

11- Jean looks younger than Susan: This sentence is used to compare between the ages of two people.

12- I don’t think her story is true: This sentence is used when someone tells you something happened to him or her, and you believe it is a lie and not true.

13- He has short hair: This sentence is used to describe the length of someone’s hair.
